We were fortunate to be approached by Londinium Espresso and offered a new stove top espresso machine to review for Coffee Forums UK – a growing UK coffee community.
I took the opportunity to create a few images to accompany the review and am pleased with the initial results.
The setup was an A0 sheet of white cardboard to create the white seamless background, with 2 flashes at 450 through a 40″ softbox (camera right) and a 33″ shoot through umbrella (camera left)
The flashes (a Canon 430EX II and a Yongnuo YN465) were both set to 1/32 power
The ISO was set at 100 and aperture F8 was chosen
Photographing shiny metal parts is challenging and small adjustments on the recovery slider in Lightroom were made to bring back the slight over exposure on the extraction spouts.
The images were converted to B&W and exported as .jpegs
